FCC Board of Directors Meeting Information

A meeting of the Board of Directors of Friendship Community Care, Inc. will be held at noon the fourth Wednesday of each month. The meeting will be held at Friendship Community Care’s Administration
Board Room located at 920 University Drive, Russellville, AR 72802.

Public notice is hereby given this 1st day of April, 2026 that Friendship Community Care, Inc., of P.O. Box 2109, Russellville, AR 72811, has made application for funds through Section 49 U.S.C. Section 5310 for the purchase of the following type of passenger transportation vehicles: two – 23’ Medium Cutaway Bus with lift (12/2 WC Passengers). 
This vehicle will be used primarily for the following purposes: Will provide transportation for individuals with developmental disabilities to adult day treatment programs located in Russellville and Rogers Arkansas. Serving counties Pope, Yell, Johnson, Washington and Benton. 
Purchase of the above vehicle is considered essential to the efficient operation of this organization in provision of public transportation services to seniors and individuals with disabilities. There is no intent to infringe upon, or compete with, existing public or private transit operators, including Section 5307, urban public transit operators and Section 5311, rural public transit operators. 
Any objection should be submitted in writing only to persons listed below. All comments will become a part of this organization’s application and will be a matter of public record. All written comments must be submitted within 30 days of the date of this notice. Any person wishing to request a public hearing on the proposed project must submit a request in writing within 10 days of the date of this notice to the persons listed below:

Today announced its sponsorship of the USDA Food Program. Meals will be available at no charge or at a reduced charge to enrolled persons at the participating institution(s) listed above. In accordance with Federal law and the United States Department of Agriculture policy, this institution is prohibited from discriminating based on race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), age, disability, and reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity.
