Betsy Rice of Ola has been attending the Leon Millsap Senior Activity Center in Danville for many years. Mrs. Betsy and her late husband Bob, attended and volunteered in various aspects at the senior center. Ms. Betsy stated, “My favorite part about attending Leon Millsap Senior Activity Center is getting to fellowship with everyone. They also serve very good food 5 days a week during lunch.” Ms. Betsy talks very highly of the Leon Millsap Senior Activity Center. She believes that young people and seniors could both benefit from the visits of the younger generation. Ms. Betsy stated, “The younger generation would benefit from coming by the center and doing activities with the seniors. Seniors and young people alike have so much to offer to each other’s generation!” Ms. Betsy ended with encouragement to everyone, “There is something here for everyone to do at the senior activity center from art classes, exercise groups such as peppi and drum’s alive, trips, bingo, and last not but not least the delicious food!”
